Duties
The Park Rangers serve the community by providing safety at the parks and educating residents about the local environment. Their duties include patrolling the parks, securing special events, trail maintenance, interpreting the environment, and providing horse care and for the Park Ranger Horse Patrol. The rangers oversee Cameron Park, the Brazos River Corridor and all neighborhood parks. Patrolling is done by a variety of means such as hiking, driving, mountain biking and horseback riding
